Always client-centred
My approach is focused on meeting clients where they are and building a strong and trusting relationship. From that base, we can start working on presenting issues. Some clients attend weekly for months or even years, while others prefer to undertake 6-8 sessions and then return as and when needed. Whether you are in crisis or suffering an unrelenting fatigue or just not feeling yourself, I urge you to seek help. Everyone will suffer at some point in their lives. Sometimes it is explicitly clear what the trigger was but sometimes it is not. Regardless of the circumstances, it is always beneficial to seek human connection when we are suffering.
It is not always possible to get that confidentiality and connection from family or friends.

Commitment to the community
In addition to my private practice, I work in a voluntary capacity with a community centre in Dublin. This service offers therapeutic services to the local community in need of support and those struggling with addiction. I also work voluntarily with a charity supporting victims of abuse. This work is very important to me personally and professionally.
